“The playful burst of glitching snaps and synth on ‘Shadowcat’ is straight-up bedroom-pop meddling that feels simultaneously homespun and sleek.” - The Quietus.

“It’s a single that has that profound Spring fresh air feel” - KCRW.

Introducing the fourth single by Slow Place Like Home (aka Keith Mannion), taken

from the album ‘When I See You… IceCream!’.

Following the previous three singles, each released with video accompaniment, Mannion drops a fourth single in ‘Shadowcat’ next Friday 26th January.

Reworked for a special single release, it is accompanied by an exclusive remix of another album track (Falesia), by critically acclaimed Northern Irish producer, The Cyclist (Stones Throw Records/Hypercolour).

“A not-so-fictional, parochial town, being run to the ground and the sheer levels of corruption on point. The music is somewhat as haywire, yet contrary to the depiction of nepotism and cronyism in the narrative.”

Music influences meander from such folk as Lev Termen, to Jelly Roll Morton, to Captain Beefheart, to Patti Smith.

Artwork for the new single, is once again designed by illustrator John Rooney from Derry, Northern Ireland.
